At the first fair dedicated entirely to padel in Italy, the Valencian company had a stand and set up its Wilson Elite court where different activities and exhibitions took place.

On the weekend of 13th-15th January, the first sports fair dedicated solely to padel, Padel Trend Expo 2023, was held in Milan, very close to the fashion district Citylife. The event was organised by the integrated communications group Next Group, with the collaboration of the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation and the sponsorship of the City of Milan, and was attended by 90 exhibitors. Padel Galis was one of them.

The Valencian company, world leader in the design and manufacture of padel courts, participated in the Padel Trend Expo with a double stand (F22-F24) and by installing a Wilson Elite court next to the VIP area, where various activities organised by Padel Galis took place.

The fair attracted more than 18,000 people, 2,000 of whom actively participated in the numerous clinics, played with professional players, tried out the new paddle collections and purchased all kinds of clothing and sports equipment.

“We are very satisfied with our participation at the Milan Padel Trend Expo. It was a truly incredible weekend and, at the same time, it was exciting to see how interested the public was in our wide range of courts and services, as well as participating in the activities we had organised,” said Francisco Pérez Galisteo, CEO of Padel Galis.

Padel Galis presented itself at the Milan fair with its Wilson Elite court, which was launched on the market last November, thanks to the strategic agreement reached between the Valencian company and Wilson Sporting Goods in 2022 with a view to its entry into the US market.

However, Italy is also a very attractive market for Padel Galis. With more than 7,000 courts and almost one million players, padel is no longer just a fad in the transalpine country. “The success of exhibitors and attendees at the fair confirms this and reaffirms our commitment to promoting padel and its industry globally,” explained Pérez Galisteo.

Padel Galis has installed over 8,000 padel courts worldwide since 2016. Fans of this racket sport play on courts built by the Valencian firm in over 50 countries worldwide, particularly in Spain, Italy, Sweden, the United Arab Emirates and Mexico, with the latter home also to the South American branch of the company.

Its catalogue of services includes the design, manufacture and installation of padel courts. The company currently offers 6 types of court: the official WPT Special Edition, WPT Challenger and Wilson Elite courts, and the Ultrapanoramic, Mundial and Pro One courts.
