Padel World Summit 2026 confirmed something we have been witnessing for years at Padel Galis: padel continues to grow at an extraordinary pace. But today, the evolution of the sport is no longer measured solely by the number of courts being built. It is increasingly defined by player experience, innovation and long-term vision.

According to the latest industry data presented during the event, 4,969 new clubs opened and 7,898 new padel courts were built worldwide in 2025 alone. This brings the total number of active courts globally to 58,334, representing a sixfold increase compared to 2016 and highlighting the remarkable growth of the sport.

The player base continues to expand as well, with more than 850,000 federated players and nearly 19.4 million active players worldwide. Markets such as France and Indonesia have been among the fastest-growing regions over the past year, further confirming padel’s status as a truly global sport.

The Future of Padel Clubs: Beyond the Court

One of the key messages shared throughout the summit was clear: the club of the future is no longer just a place to play.

The most successful clubs are not necessarily those with the highest number of courts, but those capable of creating communities, delivering memorable experiences and building long-term player engagement.

Wellness areas, saunas, recovery spaces, food and beverage concepts, academies, leagues and social experiences have become essential elements of the most innovative and successful clubs across international markets.

For another year, Padel Galis showcased one of the largest and most active spaces at Padel World Summit.

Over the course of three days, our stand became a meeting point for club operators, distributors, investors and industry professionals from around the world. Our commercial team and global distributor network gathered in Barcelona to strengthen local support and continue driving the international growth of the Padel Galis brand.

One of the highlights of the event was our activation, “Crafting the Padel Court of the Future”, alongside Fernando Belasteguín. Together, we shared our vision for how padel courts will evolve in the coming years from the perspective of the player.

Introducing the Wilson Ultra by Padel Galis

For the event, Padel Galis presented a specially adapted version of the new Wilson Ultra by Padel Galis court.

The court featured integrated perimeter lighting and PGR by Bela turf, developed in collaboration with Realturf. The installation was designed to demonstrate how innovation, design and player experience will continue to shape the future of padel infrastructure.

The space also hosted multiple activations, presentations and meetings with leading brands and companies from across the global padel ecosystem, further establishing the Padel Galis stand as one of the event’s main hubs for networking, collaboration and innovation.
