SUCCESSFUL DEBUT OF THE NEW PPA PADEL GALIS COURT AT P2 IN PUERTO CABELLO

Barcelona, April 9, 2024 – Padel Galis and the Professional Padel Players Association (PPA) have closely collaborated to introduce an innovative padel court that has debuted with great success at the recent Premier Padel in Puerto Cabello, Venezuela. This milestone marks a new era in the design and development of facilities for professional padel, highlighting the commitment of both parties to offer the best to players and fans. 

Under the direction of Padel Galis chief engineer, Jaume Molina, and PPA vice president, José Carlos Gaspar, a remarkable evolution in court design has been achieved, incorporating features that significantly enhance the gaming experience and player safety. 

Some of the highlights of the new court include: 

• Evolution in the design of the mesh area: The traditional mesh cover has been removed to improve ball bounce uniformity and maintain safety against potential player entanglements. 

• Ultra-panoramic version: Provides maximum visibility for spectators, both in the stadium and in audiovisual broadcasts. 

• Net posts with specific compartment for balls: Offer a practical and convenient solution during play. 

• Innovative perimeter LED lighting system: Ensures uniform visibility throughout the playing area and reduces energy consumption by up to 50%. 

For the production of this new court, Padel Galis has collaborated with Planet Power, a specialist in lighting, which has allowed achieving a final product that exceeds expectations in terms of quality and energy efficiency. 

José Carlos Gaspar, PPA vice president and professional player, highlights the importance of this initiative and the outcome achieved: “From the beginning of the project, we have worked with Padel Galis to meet the needs identified by players in competition.
